The Georgia Strait Alliance’s Festival of Ocean Films is back for its 11th year. This year, celebrate your connection to the ocean with Pacific Northwest documentaries and live conversations with filmmakers from the comfort of home.
Starting March 21 through to March 31, the festival will take you into the depths of collaboration, conflict and sustainability regarding water, wild salmon and whales—some of the region’s most pressing environmental issues.
With the purchase of a $10 ticket, you will receive immediate access to four feature length films and six shorts (see trailers on the GSA website). Tickets also include access to live events like conversations with the filmmakers and a filmmaking workshop to give you the tools to make your own films for social change.
This festival is made possible by the support of Coastal Community Credit Union, and ticket sales help support the Georgia Strait Alliance and its work to protect the Salish Sea.
Note: The GSA has made the festival accessible to all. If you are living on a low or fixed-income, please contact vfof@georgiastrait.org to receive a code to access the festival for free.
